Yesterday, I was able to attend Media Day at the Florida RV SuperShow. Unfortunatey, it was a dreary day. However, this early access allowed me to tour all the newest RV floorplans before the crowds converge on the show. And there was a lot to see!
Among the thousands of RVs on the show floor, a few stood out for their unique floorplans, fun colors and innovative design features. Here are the highlights of the 2024 Florida RV SuperShow!
Brinkley RVs
The newest manufacturer of towable RVs continues to unveil exciting new features and floorplans. Here are some highlights from the Florida RV SuperShow!
At the show, Brinkley is showing off their new Model Z 3400 fifth wheel. The model is not a toy hauler, but it does have an amazing rear porch!
This amazing outdoor living space includes a fridge, bar sink and a TV. If your a tailgater, you are going to want to check out this model.
Another feature I loved in a Brinkley RV was this enormous flip-up kitchen island in their 3500 Model G toy hauler. It turns this typical island kitchen into a chef’s dream in seconds.
When touring Brinkley RVs, you have to open cabinets and drawers to see all the cool features, like these built-in pet bowls.
Pro Tip: Attending the 2024 Florida RV SuperShow? Hit up the Brinkley RV exhibit early. It’s going to be packed!
Tiny Houses on Wheels
Many full-time RVers refer to their rigs a tiny homes on reels. But now, Forest River is manufacturing RVs that actually look like tiny homes.
First up, is the Timberwolf Mini Loft, a two-story destination trailer. Inside, this cozy trailer has a kitchen, living area and bathroom downstairs with a spacious sleeping loft above.
Forest River is also showing off more colorful tiny homes with their Ibex and No Boundaries Suite models. These mobile tiny homes, feature large rear patios and the best RV interiors I’ve ever seen from a manufacturer.
Details inside these stylish RVs include dark green cabinets, a vintage-style refrigerator, a double vanity with vessel sinks and fun bathroom wallpaper.
Fun Exteriors
Most RV exteriors are still covered in outdated swooshes and stripes, but I noticed some really fun new RV exteriors at the 2024 Florida RV SuperShow.
First up is Gulf Stream’s Vintage Cruiser. This line of lightweight travel trailers has always been available in fun colors, but the new hot pink version is the best yet.
Don’t worry, the pink details don’t end on the outside.
This teardrop RV also had a fun, colorful exterior featuring bright stripes and palm trees.
Keystone Cougar fifth wheels also featured a unique new exterior option. The Midnight Edition has a sleek all black exterior. These RVs are perfect for campers who want to stand out, but aren’t a fan of bright colors.
Barstools are the New Dinettes
Something, I noticed while touring RVs at the Florida RV SuperShow is that bar stools are becoming very popular.
Many RVs now include stools at countertops or kitchen islands that provide eating and working stations that don’t use a lot of floorspace.
If you’re stuck with a boring dinette, check out these DIY RV dinette replacement ideas and upgrade your interior!
For example, this 26-foot travel trailer featured a super long countertop with two barstools. It works perfectly as a dining table for two or an office space.
This Brinkley RV also featured a long table with barstools instead of a traditional RV dinette.
