Coachmen Pursuit 27XPS

Length: 29 feet, 0 inches

The Pursuit 27XPS is Coachmen’s smallest Class A motorhome. Like all motorhomes under 30 feet, the Pursuit has a gas engine. It also has an 8,000-pound hitch for towing a car.

Inside the Pursuit has a super functional floorplan. Behind the cockpit, there is a dinette booth on one side and a sofa on the other. In the middle of the RV, the kitchen has all stainless steel appliances.

Continuing to the back of the RV, there is a cross-hall bathroom with a shower on one side of the hallway and a water closet with a toilet and sink on the other. The very rear of the RV houses the bedroom with a queen bed and wardrobe cabinets on either side of the bed.

For camping off-grid, the Pursuit comes equipped with a 4.0 kW gas generator and a 100W solar panel with controller.

Entegra Vision 27A

Length: 29 feet, 11 inches

The smallest Entegra Class A motorhome is the Vision 27A, which is just under 30 feet long. Equipped with E-Z Drive, the Vision has a computer-balanced driveshaft, jounce bumpers, and heavy-duty stabilizers. The rear hitch can tow 5,000 pounds.

The floorplan includes a front living area with a dinette booth and a large couch. The kitchen is in the center of the motorhome and features stainless steel appliances and a countertop extension for extra prep space.

The master suite is in the rear of the RV. A bedroom slide creates room for a king-sized bed, while the very rear of the RV houses a closet. On the other side of the RV, by the foot of the bed, is a full three-piece bathroom with an oversized shower.

Outside, the Vision has an outdoor entertainment center with a built-in TV. It also comes with a 200W solar panel with dual controller, a 1,000W inverter, and a 5,500W generator.

Fleetwood Flair 28A

Length: 29 feet, 3 inches

The Flair 28A is the smallest Fleetwood motorhome. While small, the Flair has an 8,000-pound rear hitch rating, so it can easily tow a car or boat.

The Flair has a very similar floorplan to the Entegra Vision 28A. There is a mid-kitchen, a front living area with a dinette and a sofa, and a rear bedroom suite with a slideout, king-sized bed and full bathroom.

Unique features of the Flair 28A include a residential refrigerator, a pantry, a Wi-Fi Ranger, a doggy window on the passenger side of the RV, and modern interior finishes.

Outside, the RV has an entertainment center with an exterior LED TV. The 28A also comes equipped with pre-wiring for solar panels, a 1,000W invertor, and a 4,000W generator.

Holiday Rambler Admiral 28A

Length: 29 feet, 3 inches

Holiday Rambler is manufactured by the same company as Fleetwood, and the Flair 28A and Admiral 28A have the exact same floorplan and almost all of the same features

The only real difference between the two RVs is the interior décor finishes. Each model comes with two options for décor packages.

The countertops, cabinets, and backsplashes are the same for both brands, but the furniture finishes, flooring colors and accent fabrics are different.

Jayco Alante 27A

Length: 29 feet, 11 inches

The Jayco Alante 27A is another Class A motorhome just under 30 feet long. Its rear hitch is able to tow up to 5000 pounds.

In the main living area, the Alante has a dinette, a jackknife sofa, and a mid-kitchen with a countertop extension and stainless steel appliances. The bedroom has a slideout that houses a king-sized bed.

A large wardrobe closet is located in the very rear of the RV, and the three-piece bathroom with an oversized shower is located parallel to the foot of the bed. Outside, there is an entertainment center with a TV.

The Alante is ready to go off-grid with a 4,000W generator, a 1,000W invertor, a 200W solar panel with dual controller, and a second house battery.

Newmar Bay Star Sport 2813

Length: 28 feet, 11 inches

The Newmar Bay Star Sport line has one floorplan under 30 feet: the 2813. The small Class A motorhome has a rear hitch with a 5,000-pound rating. The front of the RV houses a sofa and a booth dinette, while the L-shaped kitchen is located in the middle of the rig.

Across from the kitchen is a storage area with a pantry and wardrobe closets. The rear bedroom has a queen-sized bed located in a slideout, and a bathroom located at the foot of the bed.

The Bay Star Sport comes equipped with a 4.0 kW generator. Solar panels are not included in these models.

Thor Axis Small Class A Motorhomes

The Thor Axis line of Class A motorhomes also offers four distinct floorplans under 30 feet long. All of these RVs have 8,000-pound trailer hitches.

All of the Axis motorhomes also have a 4.0 kW generator, a 100W solar panel with controller, and a second auxiliary house battery

Thor Axis 24.1

Length: 25 feet, 8 inches

The smallest Class A motorhome on our list is the Thor Axis 24.1. The rear bedroom in this tiny motorhome includes two twin beds that can be converted into one king bed that extends the entire width of the RV.

The three-piece bathroom is just outside of the bedroom. In the front of the RV, the main living area includes a galley kitchen and a sleeper sofa.

Thor Axis 26.1

Length: 27 feet, 2 inches

The next Axis motorhome floorplan is the 26.1. A private bedroom with a walk-around queen bed is located in the rear of the RV. In front of the bedroom is a cross-hall bathroom with a shower on one side and the toilet and sink on the other.

The main living area includes a galley kitchen across from theater seating.

Thor Axis 26.2

Length: 27 feet, 2 inches

The final Axis motorhome floorplan is the 26.2, which is the same size as the 26.1. The main difference between these two models is that the 26.2 has twin beds. These single beds can also be converted into one king.

The 26.2 also has a full bathroom on one side of the hall and a closet on the other side. The kitchen and living area are almost identical.

Thor Vegas Small Class A Motorhomes

Thor’s Vegas line of motorhomes features the same floorplans as the Axis line. They even have the same model numbers (and the same prices).

The only differences between the two models are on the exterior. Each model has a unique exterior design and different headlight styles.
