Keeping a small RV bathroom organized is challenging for even the tidiest campers. We have 20 RV bathroom storage ideas to help manage the clutter. Start organizing your camper bathroom today!

RV Shower Storage Ideas

In small RV bathrooms, the shower takes up half the room. Using the shower space as storage is an easy way to organize your RV bathroom.

Add Corner Storage Bars

One of the best ways to maximize storage space in your RV bathroom is to utilize the built-in storage space. Many RV showers have corner shelves. However, the small shelves are impractical as things are constantly falling off.

Adding these adjustable bars in front of the shelves allows campers to keep hair and body products in the shower.

Tension Shower Caddy

If your RV doesn’t have corner shelves, add a tension shower caddy. Kept in place with a tension bar, these caddies do not require any drilling and are more likely to stay in place than caddies installed with suction cups or adhesives.

Hanging Shower Caddy

A hanging mesh organizer is a great option for storing lighter-weight items, such as washcloths, loofahs, and razors. These hanging organizers easily hang over an RV shower door.

Shower Basket

A portable shower caddy is a simple solution for organizing and storing your RV shower products. This quick-draining basket can sit in the bottom of your RV shower or be picked up and carried to the campground bathhouse.

RV Bathroom Cabinet Storage Ideas

Whether your RV bathroom has floor-to-ceiling cabinets or just a single cabinet under the sink, we have ideas to maximize your RV bathroom storage.

Clear Storage Bins

We are fortunate to have large cabinets in our rear bath travel trailer, but it’s still difficult to turn the large shelves into practical storage space. So, we organize all of our bathroom essentials in clear, plastic storage bins.

We have one for medicine, one for first aid, one for girly stuff, and one for pet supplies. We can stack the bins to use the full shelf space, and the clear plastic allows us to easily find whatever we need at the moment.

Under Sink Organizer

In many RVs, the location of the plumbing makes it difficult to utilize the cabinet under the sink. These organizers were designed to utilize every inch of space around the plumbing lines. This one even has suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place.

Lazy Susan Organizer

If you are a lady with lots of products, this rotating organizer is the place to store them all. Place it in your bathroom cabinet and just spin it around to access different items. I particularly like this organizer for use in an RV because it has high sides, so bottles won’t fall out on travel days.

Over the Door Organizer

Campers can use one of these over-the-door organizers for easy access to everyday items. This cabinet door organizer was specifically designed to hold a hairdryer and other hair tools.

RV Towel Storage Ideas

Hang Wet Towels in the Shower

When we moved into our little travel trailer, we carefully organized our bathroom but quickly discovered there was no sensible place to hang wet towels. So, I installed these suction hooks inside our shower, so used towels can be hidden behind the curtain.

Hang Wet Towels Outside

I have also seen campers place Command hooks or suction hooks on the exterior of their camper to hang wet towels. Of course, you would have to find an alternate spot on rainy days.

Roll Towels to Maximize Space

Rolling towels can compress the fabric more than folding, making the towel take up less overall space, especially in terms of height. Roll towels before putting them away in a cabinet for more efficient storage.

Install a Hanging Towel Rack

If you have extra wall space in your RV bathroom, you can hang a towel rack designed to hold dry towels. We like this design with hooks on the bottom to hold wet towels.

Be very cautious when mounting anything to your RV wall. Make sure the wall is thick enough to hold the screws and does not have any wires inside.

RV Medicine Cabinet Organization

Many RVs have a medicine cabinet above the vanity. However, it can be difficult to utilize this space as all the items tend to fall out when the cabinet is opened after travel.

Magnetic Storage Boxes

Designed to hold dry-erase markers, these small storage boxes come with adhesive stickers affixed to the back. RVers can use the stickers to secure the box on the backside of the medicine cabinet. Between the high sides and the adhesive, these boxes will keep your bathroom products in place during travel.

Travel Toothbrush Holder

This travel toothbrush holder is perfect for RV medicine cabinets. It comes with a lid for the entire holder as well as covers for each toothbrush head. Even if the holder falls over during travel, your toothbrushes won’t get dirty.

Toiletry Pouches

Instead of trying to organize the medicine cabinet, get a toiletry pouch for each family member. Then, everyone can store their pouch in the medicine cabinet for travel and during the camping trip. Make sure to order a different colored pouch for each person.

Hair Tie Holders

These hair tie holders are perfect for storing all sorts of small bathroom products in your RV. The push-button boxes will keep everything from bandages to cotton swabs securely stored for travel.

Other RV Bathroom Storage Ideas

Travel Jewelry Box

Since we live in our RV, I travel with a small jewelry collection. I keep all of my baubles in a small travel jewelry box with a secure snap closure.

Hanging Organizer

If you are a weekend RVer who takes short trips, it may be easiest to organize all of your toiletries in a hanging travel organizer. Then you can carry your bathroom products between your house and the camper, and hang the organizer on a hook or the door to use while you are camping.

Toilet Paper Holder

Not all RVs come with toilet paper holders pre-installed in the wall. A lidded holder is a great way to store rolls near the RV toilet. Campers can use museum putty to secure the entire container for travel.

Small Lidded Trash Can

Even in the smallest bathroom, it is nice to have a trash can. This slim, lidded bin is perfect for use in a tiny camper bathroom as it can slide in beside the vanity or between the toilet and the wall.
