Sun Outdoors (formerly Sun RV Resorts) owns over 150 RV parks. However, not all of the chain’s campgrounds are created equal. Some Sun Outdoors RV Resorts are just basic campgrounds, while others are truly premium RV resorts.

Sun Outdoors Bend
Located within the city limits of Bend, Oregon, Sun Outdoors Bend gives campers access to tons of outdoor recreation opportunities and craft breweries. This Sun Outdoors Resort is the best luxury RV resort in the area.
The resort has over 100 RV campsites with cable and Wi-Fi, and most of which offer full hookups. The most luxurious sites are the premium sites, which are large sites with brick paver pads and storage lockers.
The resort offers many luxury amenities, including a hot tub, steam rooms, pickleball courts, a fitness center, a dog park and a coffee and tea bar. The resort also offers a business center and a resort kitchen, perfect for hosting events.
Sun Outdoors Central Coast Wine Country
As the name suggests, this Sun Outdoors RV Resort is located in California’s wine country. The RV park has around 150 RV campsites, all of which have full hookups and many of which have large, concrete pads.
Luxury amenities at Sun Outdoors Central Coast Wine Country include an outdoor swimming pool and a large adults-only hot tub. Kids will enjoy the playground and a game room with arcade games and air hockey.
Adult guests will appreciate the fitness center and the outdoor beer and wine bar with TVs for watching sports.
Sun Outdoors Lake Travis
Located east of Austin, just minutes from the edge of the lake, Sun Outdoors Lake Travis is a great place for a weekend getaway. All of the campsites at this RV park have full hookups, gravel pads and concrete patios with picnic tables.
Sun Outdoors Lake Travis offers an upgraded version of many typical RV resort amenities. For example, the campground has not one, but two swimming pools: an all-ages pool and a heated adults-only pool with a connected hot tub.
Other first class amenities include a one-acre dog park, a dog wash station, a large playground for children and a four-hole chip and putt practice golf course.

Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach
Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach is an RV resort located just 15 minutes west of North Myrtle Beach. The large RV park offers over 500 campsites. All of the sites have full hookups for RVs, concrete patios and brick fire rings.
Their Elite campsites also have large, curvilinear concrete patios with upgraded outdoor furniture. All campers also have access to free Wi-Fi.

Sun Outdoors Ocean City
Situated on 50 acres of beautiful bay waterfront, Sun Outdoors Ocean City is a family retreat in historic Berlin, Maryland. The resort has over 300 RV campsites with full hookups and paved or gravel pads.
The resort has many amenities including beach access, a Tiki bar serving food and cocktails, a splash pad, a mini golf course, a swimming pool with a poolside bar, an ice cream shop, an arcade, a fitness center and boat rentals.

Sun Outdoors Petoskey Bay Harbor
Sun Outdoors Petoskey Bay Harbor is located in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, known as the Crown Jewel of the state. The RV resort offers over 100 campsites with full hookups, manicured lawns and concrete pads.
For the most luxurious experience, book the coach house site, which includes a coach house, a built-in grill, an exterior fireplace and a brick paver patio.

Kids will love all of the unique amenities and activities at Sun Outdoors Pigeon Forge. One of the coolest features is an aerial adventure park where campers can play on zip lines and sky high obstacle courses.

Sun Outdoors San Diego Bay
For an urban getaway in your RV visit Sun Outdoors San Diego Bay. Nestled just outside of San Diego, California, the resort has around 200 RV campsites, all of which have full hookups and concrete pads.
For a true luxury experience, book one of the four elite RV sites. These sites are huge and come with a natural gas fire pit, Adirondack chairs, a gas grill, a bar and a dining table.
Resort amenities include a large outdoor pool with cabanas, an onsite restaurant serving Mexican food, a splash pad, pickleball courts, a fitness center, dog parks and a biking and walking trail through a coastal nature reserve.

Another awesome Sun Outdoors RV resort in Florida is the Sugarloaf Key campground. Located along a seven-acre saltwater lake and surrounded by state parks and mangroves, this RV park is a relaxing getaway in the Florida Keys.
This small resort has less than 100 RV campsites, all of which have full hookups. Some premium campsites back-up directly onto the lake, while others have a private cabana to provide some shade.

The majority of Sun Outdoors’ RV resorts are family friendly and welcome campers of all ages. However, the company does own 30 resorts and campgrounds that are specifically for people age 55 or older.
