New Orleans RV Resort and Marina

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans RV Resort and Marina (formerly Pontchartrain Landing) is a great RV park in New Orleans. Located north of the city, this RV park is a 15 minute drive to the French Quarter, but there is plenty to do right at the campground.

There are several different campsites with varying rates, but all of them offer full hookups. For a true luxury experience, book the Presidential campsite which includes a private hot tub and bar area with water views.

The park sits directly on Lake Pontchartrain and also offers a marina with parking for water-based travelers. Inside the park, visitors can enjoy a swimming pool, a full-service bar and restaurant and a children’s playground.

Smokiam RV Resort

Location: Soap Lake, Washington

Smokiam RV Resort is nestled against the shore of Soap Lake. The mineral-rich lake is regarded by some as having medicinal properties, so many campers cover themselves in the lake’s mud. (We tried this when we stayed, but just felt like we needed a shower after).

The resort has just over 40 RV campsites, all of which come with picnic tables and fire pits. Full and partial hookup sites are available. Two premium pull-thru sites have full hookups and come with private hot tubs.

In addition to the private hot tubs and natural lake, campers can also relax in the resort’s steam room. Other amenities include a large swimming pool, a family and an adults-only hot tub, miniature golf, canoe and kayak rentals and a lakefront beach.

The Inn at Benton Hot Springs

Location: Benton, California

Located just a short drive from Yosemite National Park, The Inn at Benton Hot Springs is a hotel surrounded by natural hot springs. This rustic inn was built in the 1940s and offers rooms with historic décor.

The Inn at Benton Hot Springs also has 12 rental sites with hot tubs that are fed by natural hot springs. Each site features a private hot tub, a picnic table and a fire pit. RVers are welcome to park their camper at the site, but no hookups are available.

While the inn is built around relaxing hot springs, there are also plenty of nearby adventures for guests to enjoy. Activity options include hikes in the California White Mountains, visiting local historic sites and going on snowmobile or ATV tours.

The Ridge Outdoor Resort

Location: Sevierville, Tennessee

The Ridge is an upscale RV and outdoor camping resort located just three miles from Dollywood. All of the RV campsites at The Ridge Outdoor Resort have full hookups and concrete pads.

For the most luxurious camping experience, book a signature site which includes a personal two-person hot tub, a gas grill, an outdoor wood-burning fireplace and an outdoor TV. The luxury glamping experience at The Ridge continues beyond the campsite.

Located on Hunter Creek along the southern Oregon coast, Turtle Rock RV Resort is a 24-acre resort. Situated just across the street from the Pacific Ocean, resort guests have unrestricted access to a 7-mile stretch of beach suitable for long walks and agate and driftwood gathering.

The resort offers over 100 full hookup RV campsites. The best sites in the campground are the RV hot tub sites, which include a private deck with a full-size hot tub and patio furniture.

In addition to the incredible ocean access, Turtle Rock has several fun offerings. Campers can grab a bite at the resort’s Mexican bar and grill or walk to the brewery next door. Other amenities include electric bike and paddle board rentals, a large game field and a gift shop.

Location: Morganton, Georgia

Waterside at Blue Ridge is a resort located right on Lake Blue Ridge, surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest. The relaxing mountain resort offers RV lots and tiny homes for rent.

Wind Point Park
