The Beehive State has tons of destinations for RV campers from the Mighty 5 National Parks to Salt Lake City. However, not all the RV parks and campgrounds in Utah are created equal.
These 10 luxury RV resorts in Utah offer top-notch service and amenities for discerning campers. Keep reading to find the perfect Utah RV resort for your next camping vacation.
Bear Lake / Marina Side KOA Holiday
Location: Garden City, UT
Located in the “Caribbean of the Rockies,” the Bear Lake / Marina Side KOA Holiday is a beach campground in a landlocked state. The resort has over 100 RV campsites, all of which have full hookups. The resort is open from April through October.
For a true luxury experience, campers can book one of the premium KOA Patio sites, which come with a private hot tub, privacy fencing, a gas grill, a fire pit and patio furniture. One super site even has a private treehouse and a putting green.
Shared amenities at this KOA include a heated outdoor swimming pool, a mini golf course, a jump pad, bike rentals, a fenced dog park, a GaGa ball pit and pickleball, basketball and volleyball courts.
Mountain Valley RV Resort
Location: Heber City, Utah
Mountain Valley RV Resort, located less than an hour from Salt Lake City, is one of the finest RV resorts in the western United States. Sheltered by the stunning Rocky Mountains of the Heber Valley, the resort is open year-round.
The resort has over 100 RV campsites, all of which have full hookups and free Wi-Fi and cable. The Phase II section of the resort is reserved exclusively for adults 21 years of age and older and offers sites with concrete pads.
There are also several adult-only amenities, including a clubhouse with an exercise room, a swimming pool, a spa, pickleball courts and a dog park. Family friendly amenities include another swimming pool, basketball courts, volleyball courts and a playground.
Portal RV Resort
Location: Moab, UT
Portal RV Resort is a luxury RV resort offering the largest RV sites near Moab. Located on the south side of the Colorado River, Portal is only a few minutes from downtown Moab and a five-minute drive to Arches National Park. The resort is open all year.
The park offers close to 100 RV campsites with either full or partial hookups. All of the campsites offer spectacular views and gravel or concrete pads. The park enforces a 10-year rule and does not allow pop-up campers.
The RV park has two swimming pools and two hot tubs, one on each end of the campground. They also have pickleball courts and two dog parks for campers traveling with pups.
Salt Lake City KOA Holiday
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
The second KOA on out list of luxury RV resorts in Utah is the Salt Lake City KOA Holiday. This urban campground is located just 14 blocks from the city’s downtown and is open year-round.
The large campground has around 200 RV campsites, all of which offer full hookups. The resort has several Patio sites, which offer paved pads with swings, patio furniture, fire pits and grassy yards.
This resort has several unique features, including RV wash stations, a pet wash and two onsite restaurants. Other amenities include a swimming pool and hot tub, a dog park, pickleball courts, an arcade and tons of fun yard games.
Settlers Point Luxury RV Resort
Location: Washington, UT
Conveniently located right off I-15 in southwest Utah, Settlers Point offers an unparalleled combination of glorious nature and deluxe amenities. The resort is close to many natural wonders, including Red Cliffs Natural Conservation Area and Zion National Park.
The resort is open all year and all of its RV campsites offer full hookups. Digital nomads will enjoy the resort’s free Wi-Fi and the business center with a printer.
Amenities at Settlers Point include an outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, a fenced dog park with agility obstacles, a children’s playground, horseshoe pits and pickleball and basketball courts.
Springville / Provo KOA Holiday
Location: Springville, UT
The third and final KOA on our list of the best luxury RV resorts in Utah is the Springville / Provo KOA Holiday. Just south of Provo, the Wasatch Range provides a magnificent mountain backdrop for the campsites at this KOA.
The campground is open year-round and offers almost 200 RV campsites, all of which have full hookups. All of the sites also have asphalt or concrete pads. Patio sites also have a fire pit with comfy chairs and an outdoor dining table.
This RV park has great onsite amenities including an outdoor swimming pool, a fenced dog park and a children’s playground. However, what really sets this KOA apart is its amazing clubhouse, which includes a two-lane bowling alley, pool tables, an arcade, a big-screen TV and a full kitchen.
Sun Outdoors Garden City Utah
Location: Garden City, Utah
Located on the southwest shore of Bear Lake, Sun Outdoors Garden City is a scenic RV resort in Garden City, Utah. The resort is open year-round.
All of the resort’s 150 RV campsites offer full hookups with grassy or gravel pads. All sites also offer Wi-Fi and a picnic table and many have shade trees to help keep campers cool in the summer months.
This Sun Outdoors resort also has premium amenities, including an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor hot tub, beach access from the campground and basketball and pickleball courts. Campers who want to get out on the lake can rent boats and water toys from the onsite rental vendor.
Sun Outdoors Moab Downtown
Location: Moab, UT
Sun Outdoors also has another luxury RV resort located in the heart of downtown Moab. This resort is walking distance to the towns shops and restaurants, and just a short drive from Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.
The resort is open all year and offers RV campsites with full and partial hookups. The full hookup RV sites have cement pads and shade trees. Because of the park’s downtown location, it can only accommodate rigs up to 35 feet long.
Amenities at this resort include an outdoor swimming pool with scenic views, a splash pad, a children’s playground, an onsite gas station, horseshoes and a covered outdoor pavilion.
Location: Escalante, UT
Located near Bryce Canyon National Park and within Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, on the grounds of an old drive-in movie theater, Yonder Escalante is a luxury resort for outdoor lovers.
The resort offers a range of accommodations including vintage Airstream rentals and cabins. The property is also equipped with 67 pull-in RV sites with a variety of hookup options.

Last, but not least on our list of luxury RV resorts in Utah is Zion River Resort. Nestled beside Utah’s tranquil Virgin River and surrounded by a vista of vibrant colored mountains, the resort is a lush, green oasis near Zion National Park.
The resort is open year-round. All of the RV campsites have full hookups, a shade tree and free Wi-Fi and cable. Sites have either concrete or pea gravel pads.
